Services:

Palmer Moore provide our services as Chartered Loss Adjusters and Chartered Accountants in accordance with these terms and conditions which  apply unless amended in writing.

All items of equipment will be supplied by Palmer Moore and the normal place of work will be Palmer Moore’s business premises.

 

Charges and Expenses:

Fees for professional staff (unless otherwise agreed) will be calculated on a time incurred basis (including travelling time) at an agreed hourly rate. This rate will be deemed to include the time of the member of staff, office overheads, motor vehicle running costs and mileage.

In addition the client will be charged, at cost, for disbursements and any other direct costs. Where applicable, VAT will be charged at the current rate on all fees and disbursements.

Invoices will be raised monthly and on completion of the assignment. All fees are payable within 30 days of the date of the invoice. Palmer Moore reserve the right to charge interest at the rate of 5% above the Bank of England base rate on any overdue invoices and suspend services until the invoice has been settled in full.

 

 

 

Intellectual Property:

All information and reports provided by Palmer Moore are intended for the sole use of the client. The copyright and intellectual property contained within the material supplied will remain the property of Palmer Moore.

 

Exclusion of Liability:

Palmer Moore will not be liable to the client for any direct or indirect loss, expense or damage unless due to negligence.

Palmer Moore maintains Professional Indemnity Insurance (excluding USA and Canada) with HCC International, Walsingham House, 35 Seething Lane, London EC3N 4AH

 

Jurisdiction:

This agreement should be construed in accordance with English Law.

 

Complaints:

Unresolved complaints can be referred to CILA.

 

Regulatory Status:

We are included on the Financial Services Register maintained by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) so that we can carry out insurance mediation activity.  This part of our business is regulated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW). The register can be accessed via the Financial Conduct Authority website  http://www.fca.gov.uk/register/. We are not authorised by the FCA.
